Before you renovate in the Aude
How much does renovating an old house in the Aude cost?
The budget depends on the building’s condition, floor area, structural work, equipment and finishes. Purchase costs, surveys, building work and professional fees should be considered separately. A property-specific estimate is needed before committing.
Can I renovate a property while living abroad?
Yes. Support can include coordinating local craftspeople and supervising work on site. Progress updates, photographs, decisions requiring your approval and each person’s responsibilities are agreed with you. Tell us about the property, your plans and your budget so we can define the scope.
Do I need to own a house already?

What does the service include?
Depending on the agreed scope: property search, interior design, planning the work, coordinating local craftspeople and site supervision. Deliverables, fees and responsibilities are set out in a proposal tailored to your project.
How can an old house keep its character and become more comfortable?
We start with the stonework, spaces, openings and features you want to preserve. Insulation, ventilation, heating, lighting and connectivity are then considered together, according to the building’s constraints and your budget.
