The Le Clat showcase house brings Immo Boobrook’s approach into focus: recognising a building’s potential, rethinking its uses and bringing its historic character into a contemporary way of living. This photographic story explores its spaces, materials and light.

It begins with
a different perspective.
The first photographs show a house used for storage. Passages are narrow, objects fill the rooms and dark timber makes the spaces feel enclosed. Yet the stone walls, beams and depth of the building are already there: these are the elements from which the project takes shape.
A place does not always reveal its potential at first glance.
THE TRANSFORMATION
Opening up the volume.
Connecting the spaces.
As the interior is cleared, the structure becomes easier to read. The renovation photographs reveal the levels, walls and openings. The transformation provides an opportunity to rethink circulation and light while retaining the presence of the original building.
AFTER · FURNISHED SPACES
The house
comes to life.
The living space opens generously to the outdoors. Dining sits beneath the beams, while a timber staircase and open balustrade lead upstairs. In the bedrooms, timber, stone and areas of deep blue create a more intimate atmosphere.
Stone and timber give the project continuity. New uses bring it to life.

Defining the openings.
The original views show rendered surfaces and existing openings. On the renovated façades, stone becomes visible and dark surrounds frame the windows. These different viewpoints tell the story of the house’s changing expression.
